Our Approach

We believe communication is the key to successful projects.  Everyone involved in the project from the project stakeholders to the product owner and the development team must have a shared understanding of the application requirements.  We accomplish this by using the Behavior Driven Development (BDD) approach which leverages Specifications by Example.

Before starting the coding of a new application or feature, we will outline the business rules and provide concrete examples to support these rules.  These detailed examples then become test cases by which we evaluate the quality of the application solution proposed.

Using this approach, we have found everyone in the organization is able to understand what the team intends to build and therefore we are able to build the right application the first time with a high degree of quality.  This supports clear stakeholder communication and established a shared understanding of expectations across technology and business teams.
